DAY 2. A SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF NOVI SAD AND SURROUNDINGS! Explore the old city centre and its attractive pedestrian zone with the numerous monuments and one of the most popular meeting point in Novi Sad – Laze Telečkog street and its famous, romantic cafes.One of the symbols of Novi Sad, Neo-Gothic cathedral which was built during the period of 1893 – 1895, is situated in the main square of Novi Sad, Square of Freedom. The most charming street in Novi Sad is Dunavska Street. Very short, in the heart of the centre, but very cute. It is full of colorful facades, many advertisements and shops. It looks like the time has stopped there. One look at this short street captures your breath and heart. Straight from it you get to Dunavski Park.
Visit Fruška Gora mountain, the national park, known as the „Third Saint Mountain“ because of its 17 Orthodox monasteries. All built between 12th and 16th century, and since then they have been the centre of spiritual life of Serbian people. Explore this holy places, built by the great Serbian kings!
