DAY 1. Serbia welcomes you!
Arrival at Belgrade’s international airport Nikola Tesla, where your guide and a bus will be waiting to transfer you to Novi Sad. Accommodation in the Hotel. Explore the center of Serbian culture! Novi Sad is unique in its broad offering of nationalities, cultures and religions. Wander through the medieval Petrovaradin Fortress, Novi Sad’s architectural jewel and the second largest of its kind in Europe Dinner at a national restaurant.
DAY 2. A Sightseeing Tour of Novi Sad and Surroundings!
Breakfast. Explore the old city center. Visit Fruška Gora mountain and national park, known as the Third Saint Mountain because of its 17 Orthodox monasteries. Visit the 16th Century Krušedol and Hopovo monasteries. Sightseeing of Sremski Karlovci, a city with a rich history and rich tradition of winemaking. Visit the famous Živanovic winecellar and sample some delicious wine. Visit a salaš, a traditional Serbian farmhouse. Enjoy dinner with tambourines.
DAY 3. Explore Belgrade, Europe’s New Capital of Cool!
Breakfast. Arrive in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Accommodation in the Hotel. A sightseeing tour of Belgrade. Explore Kalemegdan fortress, the mystical medieval overlooking the Danube and Sava rivers. Wander throught the bustling city center, Museum of Nikola Tesla, Parliament. Stroll along the cobble-stoned Skadarlija street. Once the home of a number of Serbian poets, artists and actors, the street which has been the center of the Balkan bohemian world for centuries. Enjoy dinner at the national restaurant to the sounds of traditional music.
DAY 4. A Day on the Danube!
Breakfast. Explore Ada Ciganlija, nicknamed Belgrade’s Seaside. Enjoy a cocktail party cruise. Delight in delicious fresh food and a cocktail while you cruise along the Danube and Sava. Dinner. Overnight.
DAY 5. History and Heritage
Breakfast. Continuing towards Western Serbia, visit the monastery Žiča, which is a symbol of the Serbian people. Arrive to Vrnjačka Banja, which is the largest and most popular spa in Serbia. Accommodation in a hotel. Enjoy dinner at a national restaurant.
DAY 6. History and Heritage
Breakfast. Visit the monastery Studenica, which is part of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites. Continue to the monastery Gradac, an endowment Helen Angevin. Visit the monastery Djurdjevi Stupovi, one of the oldest Serbian monasteries and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arrive to Novi Pazar and accommodation in the hotel. Dinner at a national restaurant.
DAY 7. History and Heritage
Breakfast. Visit the XIII century Sopoćani monastery, which is one of the most important Serbian cultural monuments under the protection of UNESCO. Visit the monastery Mileševa, famous for its White Angel fresco. Arrive to Zlatibor. Dinner and overnight stay in Mokra Gora.
DAY 8. Explore Ethno Villages!
Breakfast. Enjoy Zlatibor mountain, the mountain of golden pine trees. Zlatibor offers a highly developed resort with all necessary facilities and pristine nature to suit all your needs. Discover Mokra Gora and Drvengrad, an ethno village built by the world famous film director Emir Kusturica. Take a ride on the Šarganska Osmica the scenic, figure eight-shaped railway. The sweeping mountain views of this 13.5 km stretch will leave you breathless. Dinner.
DAY 9.
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport in Belgrade.
